I guess we should be happy to be only three games under .500. We are 12th (ahead only of Detroit and Tampa Bay) in average and runs scored, and we are dead last in GIDP.
What is strange is that we are 5th in HR, 3rd in walks, and 7th in OBP, but 12th in the category that counts. This tells me we have a monumental failure in the clutch. Por que?

With the bases loaded, we are something like 6 for 38! (where is Pat Tabler when you need him)
The DP's are killing us, and Ricky G is almost at least years total after only a quarter of a season, and he has something like 2 or 3 sac hits after a quarter of a season versus 35 last year.
I think the injuries to Bradley and Cabrera hurt this teams ability to just move a runner over. Both of these guys have speed, and if healthy would do a much better job at moving a runner over then Ricky G has done so far.
Plus, even though Brady Anderson's OBP is in the .340-350 range (I think it is anyway), his total bases are an EMBARRASSMENT!
Keep in mind, our starting pitching has taken us into the 6th inning in 14 straight games. This team just needs more then Omar to be hot.
